Christmas Lunch - December 2022
The Club's annual Christmas Lunch was held on Tuesday 13th December at the Monkey Brewhouse pub in Lymington. Great fun which brought a successful year to a close!
Summer Celebration Fiesta - July 2022
Since Pétanque is popular throughout Europe, Spain was the theme of our Summer Celebration last year. So it was sombreros, maracas and lace fans which appeared out of the fancy dress box and for the tortilla to be washed down with chilled cava. Being the hottest day of the year, the event was held in the evening. Pat won the smash the egg competition with a deft toss of her boule.

Theatre Outing
In April, one of our members, Bev Harris performed in Milton Musical Society's 'Chess the Musical' as the Arbiter's Assistant who referees the match.
Sir Tim Rice, Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus from Abba had created a musical where the ancient game becomes a metaphor for romantic rivalries, competitive gamesmanship, super-power politics, and international intrigues. The score included 'One Night in Bangkok', 'I Know Him so Well', 'Heaven Help My Heart', 'Nobody’s Side', 'Someone Else’s Story” and 'Anthem'.
Christmas Lunch - December 2021
Our annual Christmas Lunch was held at Lymington Town Sailing Club. Its commanding sea views across to the Isle of Wight and spacious dining area allowed social distancing and the circulation of fresh air. All members took a prior linear flow test whch was negative in each case.
